- To understand the pathophysiological mechanisms in which HBO could benefit patients with perianal Crohn's disease.
- To know what evidence is already available on HBO2 treatment in IBD e.g. Crohn disease.
- To examine the independent effects of cold water submersion and post-submersion rehydration on post-submersion aerobic exercise performance.
- To understand the effects of four hours of cold water submersion on orthostatic tolerance and overnight recovery, and the influence of partial fluid replacement with water following submersion.
- To understand the danger of the lack of a system to investigate the hypoxia condition of the rebreather diver.
- To explain that the detection of peripheral oxygen saturation makes the immersion with a rebreather safer.
