The UHMS Hyperbaric Skills and Emergency Management Course, “PATH Skills Lab,” is designed to provide attendees with hands-on experience in emergency management and cover clinical decision-making within a collaborative group environment. The course features concurrent stations where small groups of 2–3 learners rotate throughout the day to explore topics such as hyperbaric medicine critical care, emerging indications, and practical management issues under the guidance of expert faculty. This small-group format promotes active discussion, teamwork, and critical thinking, with light hands-on and familiarization with equipment. Completion of this course is a requirement for the UHMS Program for Advanced Training in Hyperbarics.
