The Lodge at Whitefish Lake is situated between Whitefish Lake and the Viking Creek Wetland Preserve, just minutes from the heart of downtown Whitefish.

Their location provides the feel of being near nature and the convenience of being close to all the recreational, shopping, dining and nightlife opportunities Whitefish has to offer. The Whitefish pedestrian and bicycle trail system is just outside our doors for guests wishing to walk or bike to local restaurants, bars, craft breweries, and distillery. Shuttle service delivers guests to downtown Whitefish to our sister property, The Firebrand Hotel, to Whitefish Lake Golf Club for a golf outing, and, during ski season, to the Whitefish Mountain Resort.

Individuals are responsible for providing credit to guarantee guest rooms, fees & tax.

Room Block Dates:  January 25-28

  • 8% Montana Accommodations Tax, 3% Resort Tax, 12% Resort Service Fee (23% total) not included in room rates. Applicable taxes & fees are subject to change.
  • $40 Charge per rollaway bed for extra persons (limited number available).
  • Every effort will be made to accommodate special requests; however, specific room assignments cannot be guaranteed.
  • Please note all guest accommodations are non-smoking, and pets are not permitted.
  • Group room rates cannot be guaranteed after the room block release date and are subject to availability.
  • Daily housekeeping services for condominiums and luxury homes are available for an additional fee.
  • Arrival/Departure: Check-in time is 4:00 pm Check-out time is 11:00 am
  • During high-demand dates, early check-in or late check-out will not likely be available. We encourage our guests to utilize our valet services for luggage storage.
  • Pre/Post Stays: Early arrivals and/or departures outside the pattern and/or increases to the block will be based on the best available rate and subject to room availability.

LODGING RESERVATION PROCEDURES:

  • Call in Individual Reservations: Please call 877.887.4026, ext 4058, for their individual room reservations on or before Thursday, December 25, 2025.   When calling into reservations, Guests must identify themselves as being with the UHMS - HBO CME Training '26 in order to receive the group rate. Individuals are responsible for providing credit card to guarantee guest rooms, fees & tax.
  • Additional upgraded room types available based on availability and the best available rate at the time of reservation.
  • Any rooms not reserved by Thursday, December 25, 2025 will be returned to general inventory. Any reservations after this period will be on a space-available basis and at the best prevailing rate.
  • Check-in Policy: Each guest must provide a credit card for authorization upon arrival. If a credit card is not provided or is declined, the guest must provide a cash deposit of $200 per person per night for the front desk to hold until check-out.
  • Guests may also be required to assume responsibility for any damages or lost revenue incurred due to noise, improper behavior, or other conduct disrupting the quiet enjoyment of Lodge guests.

ROOM RELATED CHARGES:

Guest not otherwise noted on UHMS Staff Master shall be responsible for their guest room, taxes, fees, and incidental charges. 

Individual Cancellation Policy & Early Departure Fee:

  • For Main Lodge & Viking Lodge reservations, cancellations may be made up to three (3) days before arrival with a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations, reductions in length of stay, or early departures made within three (3) days of arrival result in forfeiture of full payment for the entire stay.
  • For Lakefront Condominium reservations, cancellations made up to fourteen (14) days before arrival will forfeit a $100 processing fee, and the deposit balance will be refunded. Cancellations, reductions in length of stay, or early departures made within fourteen (14) days of arrival result in forfeiture of full payment for the entire stay.
  • For Luxury Home reservations, cancellations made up to thirty (30) days before arrival will forfeit a $250 processing fee, and the deposit balance will be refunded. Cancellations, reductions in length of stay, or early departures made within thirty (30) days of arrival result in forfeiture of full payment for the entire stay.
  • No-Show Policy: For any reservations that are “no show,” the deposit will be forfeited. If the reservation is for multiple nights and the guest is a “no-show,” the arrival date will be moved to the following day. If the guest again does not arrive for check-in, the reservation will be canceled, and all deposits will be forfeited.

Transportation: The Lodge provides complimentary transportation for guests to/from Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) and Amtrak Train Station with at least 3 days advance notice, for flights scheduled to arrive/depart between 7am and 10pm.
